Massage/Acupressure (Tuina)

Tuina is the term used for traditional Chinese Medical Massage, which is also known as Acupuncture without needles. It is one of the most ancient and widespread healing methods in the world.

As with other Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatments, Tuina uses the theory of the flow of Qi (energy) through the body's meridians (vital energy channels). Healthy individuals have an abundant supply of Qi flowing through the meridians. If the flow of Qi becomes blocked or stagnated, then the body fails to maintain harmony, balance and order, resulting in health problems.

Acupressure is the technique where pressure is applied to Acupuncture points, which are located along the meridians around the body. Acupressure Massage directly affects the flow of Qi, clearing any blockages, restoring harmony and health.
